As I’ve said in class before: a photographer should be able to be dropped out of an airplane anywhere in the world and come back with amazing images. This is so true when it comes to the type of assignments you’ll get as a corporate industrial photographer. Most times you’ll have no idea what to expect when you get to a shoot.
This is your challenge: Pick a car dealership and come back with three awesome images that shows your perspective your visual attitude and your opinion. This assignment is a walk about. A walk about is an exploration, a search a seizure in a visual hunt for great stuff based on how you see. You put yourself into an unfamiliar environment and with your “eye” you begin to find things!
I want you to explore the people, architecture, the overall environment and come back with three distinctly different images.
